One of my favorite things about wearing so many hats as a jazz educator/composer/performer is having the opportunity to go to a campus for a residency or master class, or to be asked to direct an honor group, present a clinic. or adjudicate at a festival. Working with students, checking out other programs, and developing relationships with their directors is a major perk of this gig! Giving private or small group lessons online has allowed me to stay connected with so many people I’ve met during my travels. I’ve been blessed with opportunities to do these things throughout the U.S. and all over the world, and I’d love the chance to do the same for you.
