Description
Here’s a great arrangement of the Horace Silver classic, Doodlin’, written for developing bands. After a strong intro, the rhythm section sets up a second line-ish groove, which alternates with straight-ahead swing. Solo is for tenor, but can easily be shared. Trumpet 1 to A, trombone 1 to G. Notated rhythm parts.
