Description
Here’s a very unique version of the classic Horace Silver standard, Sister Sadie. There are a couple of sneaky rhythm kicks (once you get those down, you’re good to go!) and a hip half-time-ish funky section. Scored for 5 saxes, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, 4 rhythm (piano voicing and bass lines+chord symbols included.) Brass ranges are not extreme. A great closer for solid high school/college bands!
